Professor of Clinical Flow Cytometry, at the University of Milano Medical School from 1998 on. Professor of Clinical Flow Cytometry at the European Master in Cytometry at the University of Urbino from 2000 on. Professor of Clinical Pathology and Clinical Cell Analysis at the University of Milan from 2004 on. Practice and teaching of Clinical Cell Analysis, with continuous translation of research applications into clinical diagnostics: cell phenotyping and counting, stem cell transplantation, hematological oncology, cytometric analysis of sepsis, feto-maternal hemorrhage, PNH, DNA analysis. From 1994 in the editorial board of Clinical Cytometry journal. From 1995 to 2001 in the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) Committee for standardization of flow cytometry testings. From 1995 to 1998 president of the Italian Society for Cytometry (G.I.C.). From 1996 core member of the European Working Group on Clinical Cell Analysis (EWGCCA). From 2000 to 2003 partner of EC-funded EuroStandards consortium. From 2006 on, founder member and secretary of the ESCCA (European Society for Clinical Cell Analysis).
